Artist Relations Representative (Intern to Hire)
We are looking for talented people who can assist in the planning of the
careers of the artists who are signed to us. You will help to promote and
publicize our artists over the course of their careers.
Many labels no longer have artist development departments. Artists are now
seen mainly as products. Some artist development departments have been
renamed "Product Development." While we do understand that currently the
emphasis in the music business is to promote artists heavily in the beginning
of their careers as opposed to long-term planning, SoundForce Records is
not interested in just producing "one-hit-wonders".
We are seeking an enthusiastic person who loves music and loves people.
Must have excellent communications skills and be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities include:
* Representing the label's interest to the artist/band and the artist/band's
interest to the label
* Insure proper communication and mutual understanding between the two
entities
* Ensure the artist feels appreciated by the label
* Represent the label regarding tours, album releases, or career milestone.
* Advise the artist on creative/performance-related issues
* Attend some rehearsals, meetings and performances.

A&R (Artists and Repertoire) (Intern to Hire)
Several positions exists in our A&R department. This department is
responsible for discovering new talent. You will work directly and hands-on
with the artists that SoundForce Records signs. This includes everything
from assisting with song selection to choosing the people that will produce
the album to deciding where the album will be recorded. This important
department is the link between the artist and all the other departments of the
label.
