When you listen to Tony Williams for the first time you quickly notice that he can really sing. We all
know good singing when we hear it. The second thing you experience is his genuine love for singing
gospel music. (you can see that clearly in the video on the right of him sharing with family members).
Most of us have experienced the music of very talented singers who sincerely love what they do.
But with Tony, when you step further into his musical world, you get something more. You are taken
on a personal Spirit-filled, emotionally-charged journey that reflects the real-life experience of just
being human in this world while striving to be closer to God.
Tony Williams’ music reminds us that it’s OK to cry as well as laugh and of how good God really is
even when this life hurts us and lets us down. His music does not brag about being perfect. Yet it
inspires a relationship with God and encourages the praise and worship of Him even though our
imperfections and disappointments. This is the very miracle of Gospel music at its best.
As is the case with many singers, Tony has been singing since he was a child, performing in several
groups around Dayton Ohio. Among his biggest musical influences were his mother and grandfather,
who were singers in their own right. Tony is currently completing several tracks of his project to be
released on the SoundForce Gospel Records label in Spring of 2012. Keep your eye on Tony
